The design of the #3776 Chenonceau White is inspired by the Chateau de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley of France. Known as the ‘castle of the six ladies’, it was home to a succession of noblewomen, and its pale walls are represented by the smooth ivory barrel, beautifully complemented with gold trim.
The 14kt gold nib is a beautiful piece of work, made in-house at , and hand-tested at the factory.

The #3776 Century range features the ‘Slip and Seal’ airtight screw-on cap, an innovative system which uses an inner plastic seal with a strong spring. The primary benefit of this system is improved storage ability – the ink will not dry out even if left for over a year. It also allows use of Carbon and Pigment inks. An added benefit is improved resistance to leaks due to pressure changes.
Uses ink cartridges or fit a converter (available separately) for use with bottled ink. recommends Fountain Pen Ink, though of course any quality bottled ink can be used.
The #3776 name comes from the height in metres of Mt.Fuji, the highest and most beautiful peak in Japan.
